This heat pump dehydrator dries 50 kg a batch across 20 stainless steel trays spaced 3.5 cm apart, at 60 to 75 °C.
A heat pump does the drying instead of a resistive element, so the cabinet draws 1000 watts from a 220 volt supply. Food manufacturers use it to dry ingredients in production, farmers and growers to extend the shelf life of produce, and kitchens to make dried ingredients of their own.
